This stunning Antique Roses French Cottage Barn Farmhouse oversized KING quilt and shams has all the vintage charm of a French countryside market. With a romantic French Pottery blend of colors including melon rose, pink roses, butter yellow and mustard, sage green, deep rich burgundy rose, and a touch of French blue. Several prints consisting of roses, wildflowers, petite roses and cabbage roses, along with a touch of purple paisley flowers – a variety of rich color delights reminiscent of antique pottery that you would envision in Provence or see strolling along a French country marketplace. The design of this wonderful quilt and pillow shams was inspired by antique and vintage quilts from French Farmhouse Barns and brought to America to produce an Americana Farmhouse look and has an abundance of roses and wildflowers in a patchwork pattern.
The quilt has graceful vines of wild antique roses (reminding me of the days of wine and roses!), has beautiful finely stitched quilting throughout, and reverses to a soft cream back with garlands of roses and sage pattern you see on the front.
